Full upper and lower dentures
Bone loss and repeated bony outgrowths on the alveolar ridges had made this case difficult to fit, and difficult to live with.
This patient was undergoing bisphosphonate treatment for osteoporosis and unfortunately lost her teeth over a period of four years. She put off having her dentures made because of constantly having bony outgrowths on her alveolar ridges. She was living off meal replacement drinks and a soft food diet only. Her function, aesthetics and self confidence were all compromised.
She even said that she’d forgotten how to smile. She loves her new dentures.
