A case, end to end

Where your impression goes.

Six stops between your surgery and your patient. The route is the same every time.

Case in

An impression, a scan or a model arrives with your prescription. It is docketed, checked against the shade and unit count you specified, and queried before anything starts if something does not read clearly.

Models poured and based

Bernard pours the models. Everything downstream inherits whatever happens here, so this is the step nobody rushes.

Design and wax-up

The case is designed digitally, or waxed up on the bench where a diagnostic is the better tool. Implant cases are planned against the fixture positions before any material is committed.

Build

Milling, casting or processing, depending on the prescription. Porcelain is built up and characterised by hand; chrome is cast and fitted to the model.

Finish and check

Chrome is polished, contacts and occlusion are checked back on the articulated models, and the case is compared against the ticket it came in on.

Back to you

The finished case returns to the surgery with a note of what was used, so you and your patient both know what is in their mouth.

The quality, the communication, and the attention to detail is what keeps me sending work here.
Referring clinician

The extractions went smoothly and the dentures fit beautifully. The lower fit even better than expected, and after a small adjustment to the upper, the bite and midline were perfect.

Shukran so much to you and your brilliant team for the advice, support and understanding. I’m extremely grateful, especially for accommodating me at such short notice. The case is looking more promising than I ever expected.

Client

The delivery went well. The lower was perfect, and after a quick chairside reline, the upper fit perfectly too.

Shukran so much for the amazing work and support.

Client
A personalised service rather than a one-size-fits-all approach. That difference shows in the result.
Client

It looks amazing! The patient was very happy, and I’m always happy with the work.

Client

Common questions

The things people ask us.

For clinicians and patients both. Technical questions about a specific appliance are answered on the services page.

We are a laboratory. We do not see patients for treatment — we make the crowns, bridges, dentures, orthodontic appliances and mouth guards that your dentist fits. If you are a patient, your dentist sends us the case.

Yes. We have introduced a pick-up and delivery service, so cases can be collected from your practice and returned to it. Phone the lab on 079 848 5089 to arrange a collection.

30 Sedgehill Crescent, Ottery, Cape Town 7800. The lab is open Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm, and clinicians are welcome to visit the bench — phone ahead so someone is free to walk you through it.

Zirconia and lithium disilicate for metal-free work, precious and non-precious alloys, chrome cobalt, titanium, flexible thermoplastic and acrylic. The equipment, metals and resources we use all have a proven scientific success rate, and every case comes back with a note of what was used.

All devices are adequately checked and go through the necessary quality control before being dispatched. Contacts and occlusion are verified back on the articulated models, and the finished case is compared against the prescription it arrived on.

The lab is CAD and CAM driven alongside a full analogue lab, so intraoral scans and physical impressions are equally at home here. We are on the verge of bringing the digital production in-house as well.
